Thursday. Today was an especially productive day for me. I had been assigned another new task: creating medals for winners and competitors in the school’s “Temple to Temple Relay Race” which entailed running a relay with a team from the Rexburg temple to the Idaho Falls temple. This event has been present in the school’s history for a few decades from what I understand, and it was an honor to get to make the medals that the runners would be awarded after completing the race. I’d been provided some basic medal designs that had been used in the past and I iterated on them, developing in my own direction all while striving to satisfy the demands of the client. I delegated the ribbon design to a peer of mine who I thought did very well with possible options. Overall, it was a productive day making medals.
