Today I continued my work on jerseys for the school but shifted focus from basketball to rugby jerseys. I was assign both sport jerseys to work on and enjoyed drafting and polishing each design. I’d utilized the school’s photo library of students to find good pictures for making mockups. These were images of students wearing the kind of jersey I’d be making. It took a while before I found some good images that I was satisfied with. However, once I found good images I began to make them into mockups in Photoshop. I also spent some time designing vectors/ typographic elements for the jerseys in Illustrator. As much fun as I end up having on these projects I want them ultimately to reach the target audience well, which in this case is the students participating in sports. In the future I’d be interested in seeing what reaction there would be to these visuals I made.
