Monday. Today was my first day of the second week of my work during my internship. For this week I was put on a pretty cool project for the university: developing jersey designs for intramural sports. What our design team had been tasked with was creating new jersey designs that included our recently created vikings brand. Our office of designers wrote down each of the campus sports and we each chose two sports jerseys to design, I picked basketball and rugby.
I really love to use photoshop. So when creating these jerseys I did a lot of work on images of previous basketball and rugby players that our campus photography team had accrued. Once I determined which images would be good to use I set out to create makeshift mockups for the colors and logotype placement designs I wanted to implement.
